Fantasy Baseball remains a hot topic to write about for views. Try taking free-agent pickups and players you should drop.

Freelance Advice: How to Cover the NFL Draft, What Not to Write About
If you want page views then don't write a summary of the draft day, there will be hundreds of Draft Day 1 summaries written by the best of the best on National platforms (ESPN, Yahoo, etc.). If you are going to write about the NFL Draft you need to put a spin on the events that happened and give your opinion on why a certain team or teams helped or hurt themselves with the moves they made. Ex. "The Detroit Lions Setback Hopes with Missing on Stafford" (if they drafted a OT or Aaron Curry with the 1st pick). There will be many subjects to cover including who you think will turn out to be busts and team report cards; all of which are better then a draft day summary.
